Who is the programme for?

The Executive Master in Finance invites you to embark on a journey of discovery of financial skills that will be highly complementary to your daily managerial needs. 

Whether your aim is to become a financial analyst or manager for the fund industry, to manage as a CFO, as a treasurer or, to facilitate your work as a lawyer or consultant active in corporate tax, mergers & acquisitions, transfer pricing, audit & control, risk management, the EMF has just the right training in store for your profile.

Eligible applicants need to have a professional experience of minimum 3 years, demonstrate English proficiency, and in particular fulfil at least two of the following conditions:

  • Hold a University degree…
  • …with a major in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Sciences or Law
  • Have professional experience in a field related to finance or one that could typically benefit from stronger knowledge.

The EMF comprises:

Elective modules offer a thematic approach to the programme where several disciplines might be needed to cover the diverse facets that each implies. The EMF brings you an impressive mix of finance professionals with strong pedagogical skills, interactions on own real-life cases, combining their specializations to offer you a unique experience.

Participants wishing to obtain a final degree of Executive Master in Finance need to choose 3 of the modules below. In case no degree is pursued, you are completely free in your choice of modules. They are at your disposal independently as short, focused trainings in finance.

4 Core Modules

Strong education, strong fundamentals. The discovery starts with an introductory module in Financials modelling and continues with three topical modules sharing with you three pillars: understanding the demand (what corporates need from finance), understanding the offer of products and strategies in the market, and finally, fully comprehending the way finance professionals communicate through norms and their numbers.

To obtain an executive master degree, choose 3 modules from the tracks below.

A rich, varied method

A flexible schedule for working professionals

The Executive Master of Finance relies on a concatenation of:

  • Interactive in-class lectures, including an array of exercises & real-life cases, videos and Excel applications & simulations;
  • Individual preparation based on real-life cases and pre-readings prior and after the course;
  • Guest lectures on complementary topics, featuring practitioners and experts in various fields and major financial and non-financial institutions;
  • Group Work on a major case study at the end of a module.

Class participation implies a presence on average of 1 couple of days (Friday and Saturday) every two weeks, with 3 weeks “off” 2 times in the year to work on the board presentations to be developed. All modules last 2 couples of days except for the first two.

The spirit of the EMF is to enlarge considerably your financial literacy and culture, once a layer of common knowledge ground level is attained, by maximising the number of cases, applications and experiences. Thus, reading and intellectual curiosity are key to maximising your learning journey.
